Construction Spending Up 1.7% in January

The U.S. government is reporting that total construction spending in January was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1,525.5 billion, which is 1.7% above than December’s revised estimate. In addition, December’s figure was 5.8% higher than January, 2020. Residential construction was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $713 billion in January, which is 2.5% higher than December’s revised estimate. Continue reading HERE...
