Emergency Rental Assistance – How to Apply State by State

Details are still emerging about how to apply for assistance under the Emergency Rental Assistance Program. The federal government made $25 billion available to assist households that are unable to pay rent and utilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds were provided directly to States, U.S. Territories, local governments, and Indian tribes.
