IMPORTANT UPDATE

Landlord applications that have not been denied or paid out are in the "cures process" meaning there was documentation missing either from the landlord or the tenant. IHDA is telling me that multiple contacts have been made or attempted for all of those applications and anything not completed by next Tuesday 8/31/21 will be denied. To date a little over five million dollars has been paid out to St. Clair County Landlords through this program however there is still roughly seven million dollars’ worth of applications in the cures process for St. Clair County. Would you please forward this information to your members and stress the urgency of either supplying the information if it is landlord information that is missing or working with tenants to ensure their information is received by IHDA on or before Tuesday. I would hate to see that much money lost due to incomplete applications.
